I enrolled my ten year old son at Star Footballers just over five weeks ago. My son was quite late compared to most others, in finding his love of all things football. And though he loves the game, he can struggle with his confidence on the pitch. Since starting at Star Footballers, and after I had let Coach Ciarán know of Jack’s great love of football, but his challenges with confidence, through the weekly sessions, where the coach coordinates and clearly instructs the kids of each exercise. It’s thanks to this skilful session planning that these boys are really starting to feel like a team. The coach is also superb at motivating and encouraging each individual kid throughout the session, which has been paramount to my Son’s continued growth and development. Each week, I’ve watched my son’s confidence grow and come along. My daughter started her football lessons as a beginner 4 weeks ago, I was initially apprehensive for her as some of the girls are bigger than her, although the same age. The coach made her feel comfortable and is always enthusiastic, encouraging, and patient. He remembered her name from the beginning which I believe makes her feel part of the team and important. As the weeks have gone by I have seen a big improvement in her physical stamina, agility, speed and confidence. I know there’s going to be more progression as the months go on. Coach Ciaran at Star Footballers is very well trained. He is dedicated to putting the most into each session and each child within the teams. My son has taken very well to coach's patients and focused drive. My son has hearing loss and ADHD and this hasn't held him back within these sessions. He's very focused and willing to learn new skills and Coach Ciaran plays a massive part in that. Thank you for your efforts and we look forward to continuing Saturday football with you.
