Coach Ciarán
As an FA-qualified coach in Brockwell Park, I help boys and girls aged 6–16 develop their football skills, build confidence and take pride in their progress.
After overcoming cancer in 2021, I changed careers to follow my passion for coaching, gaining experience in schools, football camps, youth leagues and a development centre.
Today, I lead Star Footballers and founded Brockwell Stars FC, building a football community where children can enjoy weekly coaching, develop their game and progress into competitive football.

Working with Lambeth Council and Brockwell Park management, we have an established football training ground beside the park’s HQ, welcoming families from across Lambeth and South London.
Our training area is easily reached from Norwood Road, Brockwell Gardens and Rosendale Road, with 7-a-side goals and age-appropriate equipment for weekly football sessions.
Lambeth Council has also marked out a dedicated 7-a-side pitch for Brockwell Stars FC home matches, creating a pathway from weekly coaching into competitive grassroots football.
Football Training
Session Plan
Our one-hour sessions combine focused coaching, fun challenges and match play, with every session designed to keep children active, engaged and enjoying their football.
Each week focuses on key areas of development, including ball control, passing, dribbling, shooting, positioning and awareness, adapted to the age and ability of each group.
Every session finishes with a match, giving children the opportunity to put their skills into practice, build confidence and enjoy playing football as part of a team.
